After deciding on the shape below and with solving out where each person would sit there work in the hexagon the ideas where then drawn up on a computer software which allows a 3D effect.
The idea is to have a maze with the entrance and exit next to each other coming from the main doors to the café separated by 2 boards; in which the public are to walk right through to ensure everyone's work is viewed. The numbers are in place to portray each individuals work bay.
After talking to Graham, we came to conclusion the shape was fine for the space we where working with.
He then drew up 3D plans of the layout using tbe dimensions of the 8x4 boards.
However, the only problem was that the width of the walk way was only 3 foot 8, meaning it wouldn't be possible for wheel chairs to fit through, and the maze would be very tight especially after work was placed inside of it.
We now have another meeting with Graham on Tuesday with the new plans drew up to gain a wider walk way space. The caretakers who will help out building the boards will also attend the meeting so everyone is on board with the ideas for our static show.
