Cups of tea and weaving !

Using all of my fabrics both natural and synthetic, and both naturally dyed by hand and chemically dyed I began to weave which will then be used within my designs.

I created a weaving board using a old canvas painting, pulling the canvas off to have just the frame. I then nocked nails 1cm apart either side of the wooden frame. 

I used a knot which Rachel Powel (the natural dying and textile artist which I visited) taught me to began the weave.
